The final round of the U.S. Women’s Open

The final round of the U.S. Women’s Open

Amy Yang started the final round with the 3 shot lead over Stacy Lewis. She held the 54 hole lead at the U.S. Women’s Open Championship for the second year (consecutive). You probably remember that last year, Amy Yang finished 4th and 4 shots behind Michelle Wie, the champion. With this tournament, she has: 5 top 10 finish, 4 top 5 finish and second runner-up finish. Amy Yang is looking for another close finish. After the round, Yang said that this tournament probably made her a better player. However, she isn’t very satisfied with the result.

Golfers in the LPGA realized that Stacy Lewis is an interesting golfer. She managed a bogey at the 5th hole, but in the next 9 holes, she didn’t achieve this again. She announced that she felt like she didn’t miss a shot. She believed that she can make some birdies in the tournament. Also, she was aware of the position during the tournament. Lewis said that this tournament wasn’t the total loss. After all, the U.S. Women’s Open visitors’ records are higher than ever. These visitors gave her energy during the weekend. They are very important for the golfers, who are under a lot of stress.

Golfers had many people who watched their practice and her preparation for the tournament. In general, the weekend was amazing. For most golfers, this was unforgettable weekends with many roars and many accomplishments. All golfers were excellent and showed us a great game. Maybe the next year will be even better. However, in order to see, we must wait the next year.
