Choose to Be Fit Rather Than Skinny

Skinny is the ‘in’ thing among women these days. Selfies found in Instagram shows how women prefer to be skinny rather than ‘fit’. It’s a shocking truth that we’re all guilty about. 80% of women admit that they don’t do regular exercise. Getting involved into sports should be encouraged among women, because it will not just make them fit, but it will also make them stronger.

Influential celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Miranda Kerr posts their workout photos to encourage women to follow their fit and fab lifestyle. Their sexy curves are achieved through intense workouts and not through self-starving habits. It’s never healthy to skip meals. That’s a shortcut to some, but it may lead to dangerous consequences afterwards. While crash dieting is the last resort to some, experts warns women to prioritize their health before anything else. You only have one body, so take good care of it.

Try the kind of sport that suits your interest. It’s a great motivation to get fit, not skinny. If you’re not athletic enough to test your endurance while getting fit, you can try group workouts. Sweat it out and have fun with your friends while keeping yourself fit. Mark a regular workout schedule on your calendar and strictly follow it.

Forget about those skinny-model pegs. These girls are born with that kind of built, and you’re not. Focus on what will make you fit and healthy. Feel good from within and ignore people who push you to be ‘thin’ as soon as possible. Getting the right body takes time and pain-staking effort.
